Continuing their work in the field of language and linguistics, Brill is proud to announce the launch of the Encyclopedia of Chinese Language and Linguistics Online.
The Encyclopedia of Chinese Language and Linguistics Online offers a systematic and comprehensive overview of the languages of China and the different ways in which they are and have been studied. It provides authoritative treatment of all important aspects of the languages spoken in China, today and in the past, from many different angles, as well as the different linguistic traditions they have been investigated in.
The equivalent of a five-volume work in print, and written by the major specialists in the field, this brand new online reference work offers a synthesis of the most important research in Chinese linguistics and provides up-to-date bibliographical coverage.
The beta version of this new online resource is now available to trial, with around half the content available to review (295 articles out of any expected 450). New articles will be added throughout the year, and the publication is due to reach completion by the end of 2015. More information can also be found on the Brill website here.
In 2015, the Encyclopedia of Chinese Language and Linguistics Online is available to acquire via either of the following options:
One-time outright purchase: EUR 1,872
