New from Brill: Religions in the Graeco-Roman World Online

Updated: Apr 11, 2019

This month sees the launch of a brand new ebook collection from Brill on the topic of religion in the ancient world: Religions in the Graeco-Roman World Online.

This new online collection presents Brill’s flagship series in religion in antiquity and offers access to monographs and essays that make original contributions to the field. It provides a forum for studies in the social and cultural function of religions in the Greek and the Roman worlds between ca. 400 BCE and 700 CE, both on their own terms and in their interaction with early Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. Special attention is given to the religious history of regions and cities which illustrate the practical workings of these processes.

Religions in the Graeco-Roman World Online contains 190 titles published up to and including 2015.

In 2015, Religions in the Graeco-Roman World Online is available for a one-time outright purchase price of EUR 8,999. Perpetual access is granted upon purchase and there are no ongoing fees whatsoever.
